Would you believe we found this beautiful dog at the shelter? Him and his twin brother "Neptune" were confiscated from an abandoned house where they were most likely not very well taken care of. They are both strong dogs though, and are not letting their difficult past get in the way of a new beginning. The most amazing thing about them is their beautiful coat color. It's neither blue nor liver, but something in between. It has golden reflects, and looks and feels like velvet. Their eyes are gold/green and very piercing. The dogs are gorgeous. Just like his brother, Poseidon has a beautiful head and a nicely built body. His ears were cropped very short and probably not by a processional, but they are even. He's Just a big baby eventhough he happens to look a little intimidating. |

Poseidon is a real sweet heart and a very loving dog. He will sit on your lap if you let him. He loves to lay his big head in your arms for so loving. He is good with kids too, and would make a great family dog. We took him to PETCO for a basic obedience class and he was a hit with everyone. He loves to kiss kids and cuddle with strangers. Cute blue boy | Poseidon sit | Lay down Poseidon gets along with other dogs thus far, but he plays a little rough. Although he is not mouthy with people, he has low bite inhibition with other dogs and that could cause things to escalate. He could go with a nice and friendly female, but always strongly supervised. Poseidon is a people-dog anyway and enjoys having all the attention for himself. Poseidon is crate trained, almost completely housebroken, and knows basic commends. This is a dog that attracts attention and turns heads everywhere he goes. His new owners should continue training so he always has good manners in public and be a good ambassador for the breed. If you like an independent dog, Poseidon is not the dog for you! He craves attention and is very affectionate. Good looking boy | Sitting pretty Those pictures really don't do him justice.
