| Close up | Wink | Smiling Boy This gorgeous boy had a series of bad luck that landed him homeless. Hard to believe such beautiful representative of the breed found himself so close from euthanasia, but this is the reality for many great Pit Bulls. Luckily, Maximus's misfortune ended the day a plead for help was sent on to the internet and MPR happened to have an opening. Max is now waiting for his forever home at the boarding facility, trying to be as strong as he can, knowing this is his only chance. Maximus is a short and stocky, very compact, muscular, athletic and absolutely drop dead gorgeous red nose Pit Bull. He has an excellent conformation, wonderful disposition, as well as a lot of heart and drive. |

Beautiful face | Profile | Laying Down Maximus used to be an indoor pet and he has a hard time with kennel life now. When he came to us he was a little upset at first and it took him a few days to get over it. Since then he has blossomed into a happy and very social boy. We are trying to keep him as comfortable as possible and give him all the attention we can. He loves to run and play, and does a cool "scoop-butt-spin" (a compact version of the butt-run) when he's happy. He is also very affectionate and loving. He will gladly climb on your lap and shower you with kisses if you let him. He puts his whole little heart in everything he does, be it to play with the ball, tug-o-war, or cuddle next to you. There is no middle ground with Maximus - His name tells it all. For that reason, Maximus should be an only pet, and go with an owner experienced with high drive dogs. Maximus is now living at the boarding facility until we have an opening in foster care or until he is adopted. The poor boy deserves better than that. Maximus started life as a family pet, and this is where he should be now. Please give this beautiful dog a chance. |
