Happy Endings: An Adoption Story
“
Hooch, who we re-named Rudy, is the love of
our life... He is one of the smartest dogs I
have ever had the privilege of working with.
As a long time PittieBull owner and breed lover,
they still never cease to amaze me. He arrived
with a very strong prey drive and lots of excess
energy. We had two black cats that he had to
learn to live with, along with a large iguana
and an 11-year-old child. Within two months,
he learned that our cats were off limits.
I believe with all my heart that most dogs can
be trained to be good, loyal, loving pets. He
has proven this to be true. He walks on leash,
comes, sits, down, fetches and stays with superior
results. He can be voice commanded off a dead
run after a squirrel to return, which is a major
accomplishment in any dog. He is a pit bull
ambassador everywhere we go; showing the world
his good looks, strength and wonderful manners.
We are celebrating his first year of life with
our family this week. Thank you for allowing
us to have this wonderful animal to share our
lives with. We LOVE him...and he is spoiled
utterly rotten. The way all good Pitties deserve
