So Handsome | Goof Face Frank and Tessa were rescued by MPR in 2002 and adopted into a loving home together where they lived a spoiled and happy life until their owner tragically passed away in 2008. The dogs had hard time adjusting to their ordeal at first but have now adapted to their new life. They have each others and it has helped them go through their loss. They are very bonded. Foster Situation: Frank and Tessa are fostered in a home together. Sweet Boy | Standing | What a face! | Sweet Eyes | Big Boy Sit | Good looking Franklin Training: Franky is housebroken and crate trained. He is a well behaved dog.... Has great house manners and is just about as easy as a dog can be. Franklin was rescued from a difficult situation as a two month old puppy. He was nursed back to health and placed into a loving home where he grew up spoiled and loved. His family adopted Tessa a few months later. Pet Peeve: Wet grass.... This big clumsy boy thinks he's made of silk paper and will disappear if he gets wet.... Beautiful Boy | Smiling Frank | A Serious Moment | Big Bully Smile Personality: Big laid-back couch potato would best describe Franky. Typical Bulldog in all aspects, Frank is calm and stable but somewhat reserved with strangers. Not unfriendly however. He's just not as enthusiastic with his greetings as a Pit Bull. In fact, his gentle, yet clumsy Bulldog demeanors, make him an easy companion for anyone looking for a calm and easy-going dog. Franklin "adores" his sister Tessa. UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2009: As a big Bulldog who suffered malnutrition before his rescue in 2002, it appears that Franklin is reaching the end of his road. We have decided to remove him from our adoption program but Franklin will remain with MPR until his time has come. He is very well cared for in his foster home and at peace.
