Beau's new family
|
Beau lost his foster home when his caretaker encountered health problems. He is now boarded in a kennel and believes he's been abandoned again. For such a people-dog, living in a cage alone is very difficult. He is trying to be a good sport about it, but he craves attention and love. We hope Beau will find a home as soon as possible so he doesn't become too depressed at the kennel. His ordeal is causing him some stress related skin problems. We are taking care of it as best as we can, but Beau would greatly benefit to be in a safe and calm environment so he can relax and appease his skin. All he need is a few weeks of good care, lots of love, and a little Ivomec treatment. He will soon look gorgeous and healthy again. He is already a very handsome boy and gets a lot of compliments. The pictures don't capture his beautiful gold eyes, great shape and striking red patches. His ears are really cute and occasionally stand up on his head giving him the most adorable expression and adding to his charm. |

Personality wise, Beau is a big happy goofy boy who thinks he's still a pup. He loooves attention and is very affectionate. In fact, we are working on getting him used to be loved and hugged without melting with joy every time. We think this dog never had any attention before and he just cant get enough of it now. If you welcome Beau in your home be prepared for a lot of hugs and kisses. Big Puppy Smile | Beau Stand | Happy Beau Beau is somewhat responsive but his overwhelming affection often gets the best of him. He really tries to please but he is still very puppyish. He is a little mouthy but doesn't mean anything wrong. We are working on correcting it. All he needs is a little training and leadership. He is housebroken and good in a crate. Cute Beau | Sweet eyes | Comfy Pillow Beau was introduced to other dogs and did great. He was a little unsure at first but had a good time when he realized they were no threats. He could go in a home with a nice and friendly female who likes to play. Like all Pit Bull dogs though, he should always be supervised with another dog and separate when home alone. "What do you mean I have funny ears...?" Beau is beautiful inside out and should make his new family very happy. If you are looking for a very affectionate dog who loves people and hugs, Beau is the one for you! |
