Sassy Rudy Bruti & Jezzie

This is Sassy, friend to all. She and her family speak out for all animals everywhere, with no hesitation, and no apologies. Right now they are fighting hard for the life of her furless daddy. Sassy and her family show the meaning of love and strength.

~Sisters 3 and Gig [10/08]

What a darling little Rudy Patudy. We believe Rudy was put on earth to make us smile. Everything makes him happy, and in turn, he makes all of his friends happy. His little wiggle butt and smile is contagious.

Sisters 3 and Gig [10/08]

Bruti and Jezzie are beautiful. Their mama spends immeasurable amounts of time researching and writing about EVERYTHING canine. She is an encyclopedia of knowledge, and shares this with the public through her websites. Bruti, Jezzie, and their mama are very active animal advocates, and we admire them.

Daisy Mae Roo Crew Sawyer

Daisy Mae was left for dead at the age of 3 weeks. She suffers from IMHA, which has nearly taken her life on more than one occasion. There is no cure. Daisy and her mama have joined the movement to find a cure for this horrific disorder.

Sisters 3 and Gig [10/08]

There are too many great things to say about this family, the Roo Crew. Sammy has passed on, but will be forever in our hearts. Mickey is the man of the house now. We had written something about Bernadette, but just learned she has gone to the bridge. God bless.

Sisters 3 and Gig [10/08]

Sawyer is a rescue from Hurricane Katrina. He was running wild for 5 months, and had to be caught in a trap. He was transported to New York and placed in a no-kill shelter. He is TERRIFIED of change, of noise, of new people/situations. Thank God for adoptive parents.

Sadie Lady & Barney Chester Max

Our dear friends Sadie Lady and Barney are going through hard times right now. Both parents have serious medical problems. We think Sadie Lady and Barney are the encouragement they need to bounce back. These beautiful pups and their parents have a special place in our hearts.

Gig and Sisters 3 [10/08]

Our friend Chester was stricken by a horrible disease and was taken to the bridge last night. This was quick and unexpected. He has such a wonderful family, and they are truly heartbroken. We know Chester is running free and happy at the bridge. May God bless his family.

Lost our wonderful rottie, Max, three months ago today. I wanted to honor his memory and help out another breed that is as equally misunderstood (if not moreso). Max was an amazing animal...dignified, playful, obedient, intelligent and kind. Our household will never be the same without him. R.I.P. Max, we miss you.

Miss Molly's family Shiloh Rusty & Missy

Riley, Miss Molly, Joe Noodle, Lucy Lu, and Mittens make up this wonderful pack of friends. These guys show what great family members rescues can be. Riley has gone to the bridge, and Miss Molly is fighting cancer. Joe Noodle had a very rough beginning. See what love will do?

Gig and Sisters 3 [10/08]

Shiloh and his mama are wonderful. They have a bond that can be felt across the internet. They are caring and thoughtful and fun. Shiloh is suffering from Anaplasma and is another pup we need to remember in our prayers.

Gig and Sisters 3 [10/08]

Rusty and Missy are two good examples of how wonderful rescue pups can be, and encourage others to save lives by adopting. Rusty suffers from some health issues, and is in need of our prayers at this time. Let's show him what Power of the Paw will do!

Sugar Danielle Jake, Nari, & Joey

Sugar was found off the highway when she was barely old enough to eat solids many years ago. The moment she was rescued she was made part of the Howard family where she was forever loved and cherished. We, her friends, feel very fortunate that her mom shared Sugar with us and we got to know her. It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we say good-bye to Sugar Danielle. She touched many a heart and soul during her earthly stay. We will all love her forever and miss her always. Rest gently sweet girl.

Friends of Sugar Danielle [1/09]

Jake, Nari, and Joey - amazing dogs that made life bearable for their mum. These animals are truly guardian angels that now will watch over from above. Their wagging tails and soft furry coats will be deeply missed, but they live on forever in our memories, and in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten, true saviors. [6/09]
