This happy little gang was seized with their mom in a municipality with a breed ban. These little guys have no idea how close they came to pay the price of society's ignorance and prejudice with their life. Lucky for them, the shelter where they were brought in contacted MPR and we were able to find them foster homes. The three of them are now in separate foster homes, but all are living with other dogs and cats. They are learning good house manners, are being housetrained, and crate trained. |

Buck,
Jake and Joey are happy and friendly little pups. They get along
great with everyone, show no signs of instability or inappropriate
behaviors for puppies their age. Their caretakers only have great
things to say about them and enjoy them a lot.

Easy going Buck was adopted
Friendly and easy going with everyone. Buck loves to cuddle with the kids. He likes the cat, even gave her a kiss. He plays well with adult female dog. He will probably be a very confident male. He is not aggressive, but pretty sure of himself already. Likes to play fetch

Sweet Jake was adopted
This
one is the sweet boy. Jake is very laid back and gentle. He likes
the cat too, and loves to be snuggled by the kids. Jake seems
to be a little more submissive to the adult dogs than his brothers.

Funny Joey was adopted
The
family clown: Joey is very outgoing and funny. He loves to run

"I am happy to report that Buck likes his new home. We got home on Friday night and he sniffed around his new home for a while and wasn't shy about meeting my roomate or my neighbor. He jumped right in their laps and started playing. Then I let Nena in the house and they instantly started playing with each other like they were old friends. The wrestled all over the living and love to chase each other around the backyard. I took him on the Heart Walk saturday morning on campus. He got pretty tired by the end of the walk, in fact we ended up having to carry him for the last part. He did receive a lot of attention from everyone. Buck is very alert and obedient. He follows me around the house and yard. He seems to be very happy and is always excited when I come home or call his name. I am really excited about adopting him." Andy |
