This precious little "pearl" was seized by animal control after being found tied up to a tree with no food and no water. Pearl wasn't only undernourished, she was also starving for love and security. We noticed how desperate she was in her cage and decided to take her out for evaluation. We were shock to see how much she craved attention and was begging for love. Eventhough she was very out of shape at the time, we decided to bail her out.

"please love me"

She is still a little underweight right now, but should become a beautiful dog once she's gained a few pounds. She has the sweetest eyes.

When you meet Pearl you can't help but want to give her the love she craves so much. We are actually working on making her understand that she will never starve physically and emotionally again and there will always be someone to take care of her for now on.

She needs time but gets along with other dogs when introduced properly. She likes Stone especially, who is in foster care with her. Aren't they adorable together?

She seems to prefer the company of people though. She could be placed with another dog but should always be supervised and separate when home alone. No same sex placement.

She needs leash training and house-breaking is in progress. Right now she may be a little too desperate for love to go in a home with small kids. She has a hard time to control her need to be "close" to you and she could hurt kids with her paws. We're working on it.

"All I want is you"

Of all the dogs we've rescued, Pearl is the most desperate for love. She is also one who had one of the hardest life. God knows how much she deserves a good home now.
