    So Sweet | Gorgeous Girl

    This blonde beauty was forced to deliver 8 puppies while being "held" at Animal Control until her time was up. The brave mom braced herself for the challenge and did a wonderful job raising her pups until they were old enough to be adopted.

    Her fate however, was up in the air.... MPR had to intervene and save her life. After all, she did all the hard work. We think its her turn to be loved and pampered now.

    Miss U got her name when the shelter staff named her 8 pups after the planets. "Universe" seems very fitting for the sweet mom. When we met her, we knew right away that a beauty like her was definitely a real Miss Universe. Indeed, this stunnig girl is one of the best looking dog in our program right now. She really is a babe and those pictures dont do her justice at all.

    Foster Situation: Miss U is currently staying at the boarding facitly. She needs a home or foster home ASAP. Boarding is $220.00 a month and we need all the financial help we can get. Even if you cant adopt or foster Miss U, you can help save her life by donating.

    In the meantime, Universe tries to make the best out of her situation. She sure loves going on walks with our volunteers.

    Personality: Miss U is a very friendly gal, playful, outgoing and full of spirit. She loves to cuddle and to give kisses. She has bursts of energy when "butt-runs" take the best out of her, followed by intense couch potato moments. Typical Pit bull....

    Universe is a great representative of the breed, inside and out. While she has a wonderful disposition with people however, we believe she might be better as an only pet.

    Best Attribute: Miss U is a very petite girl. About 40 Lbs or so. Compact and well built. Her small size makes her a great cuddling partner. Ad to this the fact that she is very loving and affectionate, you have the perfect companion.
