Other
than the hips and spinal injuries, Harley came to rescue almost
starved to death. He was without food for long that he had to
relearn to be hungry. He still needs
to gain weight but doesn't seem to have permanent damage
to his digestive system.
You
would think the little dog would have lost faith in people by
now, but unbelievably, he has not. In fact, he is one of the
most loving and cuddly dog we have rescued. He craves love and
affection and will happily give his whole little heart to everyone
who wants it. He loves nothing more than to curl up in your
arms for a nap. He is simply irresistible.
Beautiful
Harley
He
is fostered in a home with other dogs, a cat, and kids. He does
great with everyone. Harley is absolutely no trouble at all.
He is very calm and easygoing, and because of his condition,
he might never require the same amount of exercise than a regular
Pit Bull. All he wants is a chance to live his life peacefully
and surrounded by caring people.
Sweet
Harley
Harley's
surgery is scheduled for June 6th, 2002. He will be ready for
adoption shortly after. MPR is willing to keep him until he
is back on his feet so to speak, unless a new owner would like
to be part of his recovery. MPR is thanking Mutts&Stuff,
Dr. Tockman and Dr. Landurm, PBRC,
and all the private donators who have generously donated money,
time and efforts to save this very lucky little guy.
