Story: Faith was rescued from the Independence Animal Shelter just before euthanasia due to their pitbull ban. She has always been on the skinny side, but otherwise she seems very healthy and especially happy and friendly. She has been spayed and is current on all shots. I have agreed to foster her until adoption because she is such a precious angel!!
Foster Situation: Faith lives at Man's Best Friend Pet Resort, which is a kennel setting. We do not put her with other dogs because she wants to fight with them without much warning. It is somewhat surprising, too, as she shows no reaction through a fence. She has not been around cats or children since being in our care. She is able to play in our fenced-in play yards. She does excellent riding in the car, is always sniffing the floorboards for a dropped cookie! I think she would do great in any single-dog home. She loves every human I have ever put around her. She is very calm and absolutely loves attention.
Training: No formal training has been done with Faith. She does know sit and sits pretty for her breakfast and dinner and treats. She is extremely treat motivated, so I believe she will be easy to train. She is very eager to please!! She is not potty trained, but I don't think it would take much to train her. Personality: Faith is very outgoing, in a puppy kind of way. She is cuddly but loves to play, too. Her favorite thing is to lay on the couch and chew a bone, but she loves tug-o-war, too
Best Attribute: Her precious, innocent, sweet personality. I love this dog so much!! And her looks are pretty awesome, too.
