Little Bee was confiscated by animal control from a cruel situation. She had live on a chain with inadequate food and shelter all her life. She was a breeding machine and might have been used for dog fighting.

You would think that with such background Bumblebee would resent humans for putting her through this, but its quite the contrary. True to her breed, she absolutely loooooves people.

She was heartworm positive when we rescued her but has since been treated. She was recently diagnosed with chronic bronchitis, a possible result of heartworm disease, and is currently under treatment. Chronic bronchitis is similar to dogs as asthma is to humans. It is not contagious and can be managed with inexpensive medications. Bee is is responding very well to treatment and her doctor believes she will soon be in remission.

Little Bee | Sweet Face | With a friend | Little Clown | Profile | Just Chillin' | Cute underbite | What's up?

Little Bee loooooves people and is fantastic with children, even toddlers. Her small size makes her super easy to handle, as well as her very submissive personality. She is very gentle and we cant stress enough how much she loves belly rubs. She also enjoys being carried around like a baby and can spend hours cradled in your arms like a human baby.

Bumblebee is fostered in a home with several dogs but is usually kept separate from them. Her social behaviors with other dogs is a little awkward. Though she doesn't go out of her way looking for trouble, we believe that living with other dogs is not very comfortable for her. We think she'd be much happier as an only pet.

Bee doesn't require a lot of exercise and is very easy to please. It is simply impossible not to fall in love with this adorable little dog. First of all she is too cute for words! She has THE cutest underbite in the world and her little face is simply irresistible.

Her disposition with people is excellent. She really is as sweet and loving as can be, super cuddly and affectionate. She'll lay on your lap, belly up, for hours if you let her. She loves to be held like a baby..... She's in heaven when in someone's arms and her small size is perfect for cuddling.

She's a clown! She will make you roll on the floor laughing. She loves to amuse the gallery with her antics too. She has mastered the "Bang Bang" trick where she rolls on the floor and plays dead, though her tail keeps wagging, Lol!

Finally, her small size and low exercise requirement make her the perfect candidate for apartment living or a small house.

We are confident that Bumblebee will make her new family totally head-over-heels for her. She's a real gem and adorable little pit bulls like her don't come by too often.
