Foster Situation: Blarney is now being fostered in a home with other dogs and a little boy. He has not been introduced to the dogs yet but I feel confidant saying that Blarney would do just fine with a friendly female. Blarney does great with our toddler.
We are missing a fence panel currently so Blarney goes out to potty on a leash, which he does well on.
So Sweet | Cute Boy
Training: Blarney needs a little work in the training department but only because I don't think these things have been taught to him. He's a very fast learner and eager to please. He knows how to sit and lay down, and he is very easily corrected with a firm "No". He has never had one accident in my house or in his crate and always whines at the door when he needs to potty. He sleeps in his crate at night and he is NOT a chewer at all; he does not want to mess up his blankets, which is nice. Blarney loves to snuggle with you on the couch and he is the perfect dog for that because he has a very short coat and doesn't shed at all.
Good Looking Boy | Waiting for you
Personality: Blarney is the perfect medium between being too energetic and reserved. He isn't one of those dogs that has to jump all over you the second he sees you and knock you down but he's very friendly and greets everyone with a tail wag. He isn't scared of anything but he isn't overly hyper either. He gets little bursts of running around and playing but then he's just as happy to lay down by your feet and get pets. He's the kind of dog where you can cuddle up at night, put on a movie and know that he will just snuggle at your feet right through the whole thing!
Best Attribute: Blarney is just an all around great dog. He has A LOT to offer to a potential new family. Who can ask for anything more than a dog who is calm, sweet, well behaved, totally potty trained and doesn't shed? He is such a great guy that I think he would make a wonderful addition for almost anyone; the only thing we do know about Blarney from his past foster home is that most likely he will not get along with cats. Other than that I can't think of a negative to write about him. If you want a sweet, laidback family dog, then Blarney is your man!
