Bengal was on his very last day at the shelter when a nice lady noticed him in the site, and contacted me. Bengal had not been tested with cats but we were hopeful things would work out. So far so good! Looks like Bengal has found a wonderful home and will be very happy with Amy, her two little girls, and his new kitty friend.

Bengal's family

What a striking looking dog! Bengal has the most amazing brindle marking on a fawn coat. He looks just like a Tiger. This little guy really has everything going on for him. Besides his outstanding looks, he has an adorable personality and is as friendly as can be.

"Hi Veronique, Bengal is doing well so far. Only one accident in the house and none in the crate. He has been good with the cat. They walk around together and Bengal pays little attention. He likes to sit on the sofa and has been having lots of chewers especially when in his crate. I have only been putting him in the crate at night and when I'm at work though I would like to start letting him sleep out of his crate when I'm more sure of his potty training.

My daughter gave him a stuffed whale which he likes to play with and he has nibbled on his blanket in the crate. Bengal loves Katie my four year old.

I will have to buy him a nylabone or more toys to chew. You were right about the crate. It does work great. I'm taking him to my parents this weekend so he can run in their backyard. My parents are less nervous about him now that they know him."

Update: I think we have some more pitbull converts. I had my work Christmas party last weekend and Bengal was a star! He was so good and everyone loved him. There were six kids there and he was just great with them and all the adults. He was very relaxed and social, not shy at all. He smiled the whole time!

This weekend Bengal and my cat were sleeping in the sun together and my cat was resting his head on Bengal's front feet. " Amy
