Angus had been through a lot, but thankfully he found some nice folks to give him a second chance. Angus had hip dysplasia and went through a painful surgery on both hips to fix the problem. He is now on his way to recovery, and has finaly found someone to help him get back on his feet.

He is only two, but his disability slows him down a little bit. He will probably never be able to run very fast like other dogs, is a little uncomfortable climbing stairs and needs a little "love push on the butt" to get in the car, or on the couch, etc. Other than this, he is healthy, friendly, and easy going. The vet said he can have a long and happy life, and he sure deserves it...

A big thank you to to Betsy of Columbia Second Chance, who took very good care of Angus until a good home was found.

Angus will now livethe happy life with Aaron and MaryAnn and will be a spoiled family companion like he deserves so much.

"Just thought we would drop to a letter. Well Sunday was pretty nice. We all got up at 5:30 am and we went for our walk. We got back at 7am. Angus was ready for the A/C. Angus is doing great going up the stairs. We unhook his lead and he goes up the steps at his own speed. Angus leads real well he doens't pull hard at all. During the day Angus sleeps on the couch, but when bed time comes, he has his bed right beside my side of the bed. He has his own blanket, he spreads it out and lays down. Today, Angus got up when the alarm went off and got on the bed and was telling us that it was time to get up and go out side. We were up and out before 5:am this morning. Aaron had the be at work at 7:am so we had time for our walk. Well right now Angus is sound a sleep on the couch. He's got a good idea! I think I will join him in a nap too. Bye for now."
